PANO provides its clients with many services including training seminars, legislative advocacy resources, and customized consulting. To better serve Pennsylvania’s vast nonprofit community, PANO needed help communicating their value and driving new membership. From our initial kickoff meeting with PANO’s leadership, we distilled all goals into one primary goal: to increase membership. The bigger goal is to equip more nonprofits to do their best work, and in order to make that happen, we had to increase brand awareness and drive membership.

Because their new website would incorporate new brand styling, we approached the rebrand first. We explored many options before arriving at the final direction, striking a balance between something professional, strong, and knowledgeable, while also feeling approachable, lighthearted, and engaging.
The bright colors set the tone of diversity in who PANO is and the wealth of people they represent. The pyramid is a symbol of strength and strengthened by the individual parts which make it up.
Before launching into website design, we needed to finalize a CRM integration. Through our research with PANO, we arrived at Neon, a CRM designed specifically for nonprofits. After establishing the CRM, we set out to organize the sitemap, hierarchy, and layout of the website.

With the brand and structure in place, we set out to build and develop the site. The result is not only a website that looks beautiful (implementing vibrant colors, angles, and clean typography), but one built on a strategic foundation of clarity and simplicity.
